What will you do as a Content Marketing Manager?

Reporting to the Group Communications and Marketing Manager, the Content Marketing Manager will collaborate with a wide variety of key stakeholders across Stahl to develop content aligned with Stahl’s purpose and strategic focus areas, and will be responsible for delivering content that engages Stahl’s target customers and helps increase brand favorability across multiple distribution channels. This position requires project management, hands-on writing and editing and the ability to define and implement content marketing strategies.

One of the main purposes of content marketing is to attract and bring in new customers and create strategies that lead new customers from the top of the funnel (TOFU) to the bottom of the funnel (BOTU). This focus on the customer journey is one of the guiding aspects of this role.

Your responsibilities:

  • Serving as primary content marketing liaison for the two main Stahl Business Units, working with marketing and business partners to develop content marketing strategies and programs to support their marketing goals
  • Partner with the Group Communications & and team to define and implement a complete brand and product content marketing strategy
  • Develop an omnichannel content strategy that supports developing thought leadership, driving awareness and traffic, nurturing sales, and closing deals
  • Manage a cross-functional editorial calendar
  • Craft interesting, well-researched, content to drive traffic, engage and convert target customers, and improve shared content across social media channels; content to include white papers, blog posts, website copy, podcasts, case studies, webinars, videos, presentations, (digital) brochures and other content as needed
  • Partner with creative contractors to bring content assets to life in designs
  • Copy, edit and review content for messaging, style guidelines, brand consistency, and voice; provide education and guidance to ensure high quality writing for all Stahl content
  • Evaluating content performance with the growth Marketing Manager in order to improve and optimize content and campaigns.
  • Work with the growth Marketing Manager to grow social media database and marketing automation database
  • Implement new tools and processes for effective creation and measurement of content
  • Optimize delivery strategy for each piece, by implementing best practices, and repeatedly test various tools, content formats, and distribution channels with various target audience segments
  • Provide accurate and timely project reporting on all content marketing activities
  • Manage Stahl’s social media presence to grow followers and engagement
  • Manage content on global printing management platform Gelato.

Your experience and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing, communications, or writing-focused roles
  • Excellent written skills for online and print
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment
  • Strong analytical capability
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
  • Experience with Web Content Management Systems, Marketing Automation Systems and collaboration tools (like Trello)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment with shifting priorities
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
