Unique crosslinkers for a denser network
Crosslinkers are chemicals that react with various binders or with themselves to improve the physical and chemical properties of a coating. There are two major mechanisms by which crosslinkers can react: by reacting with a polymer or by reacting with themselves forming a so called interpenetrating network with the polymeric binder. The result? A much denser network, which is key in achieving improved performance in resistance against cleaning liquids, sun cream lotions, food stains and other chemicals.

Due to the high reactivity of crosslinker molecules it is important to consider the limited pot life of a formulated finish or coating after the addition of a crosslinker.
