We employ over 2,100 people in 24 countries at 13 Manufacturing Sites, 11 R&D Centers and 38 Application Labs. In 2016 145 Full Time Equivalents (FTE) left Stahl while in the same period 245 FTE’s joined our company. These numbers are in line with the industry average. The turnover rate over 2016 was 10.6%.

Stahl’s Code of Conduct policy is implemented internally and throughout the supply chain. Our Code of Conduct for Employees outlines what we expect of all our employees. To establish and maintain our reputation and to provide high-quality services to our customers, integrity is crucial. Through a whistleblower policy employees can report suspicious behavior that could conflict with our Codes of Conduct discretely and with all protection necessary. Stahl’s Business Code of Conduct defines how we are committed to the highest standard of social and environmental responsibility and ethical conduct and we ask our business partners to comply with these important principals.

As an innovative company in chemicals and leather, personal growth and knowledge are pivotal to us. For example, our international management program that was initiated in 2013 and extended after the Clariant Leather Service Business acquisition in 2014, will continue until 2019. At that time, about 200 employees in middle management from around the world will have completed this training that focuses on leadership and general management skills. In order to expand upon this program, follow-up master classes will be organized until 2019.
