The interior designer used the leather to redesign the Province House while simultaneously making the building more sustainable. The biodegradable leather has been used for the surfaces of the employees’ lockers and they serve as wall decorations in one of the largest meeting rooms in the building. Specifically for the ‘Statenzaal’ – an area for special occasions and high-level meetings - leather design sofas were made. Since these sofas are to be used intensively on a daily basis, Stahl offered a durable finish system to make them wear-resistant, dirt-repellent and easy to clean.
