Stahl’s velour finishes and water-repellent leather finishes help you enhance the texture and water-resistance of leather shoes, boots, sneakers, bags, gloves, jackets, hats, hiking gear, and more, without compromising on appearance, comfort or usability. This makes them ideal for garments, shoes and leather goods applications. Our water repellents are particularly useful for outdoor applications, which need to keep out light rain and snow. This range includes products from our Amollan® and Melio® portfolios, as well as PFC-free and BTX-free water repellents.

High-functioning velour finishes
Stahl’s range of velour finishes adds nubuck and velour finishes to leather, as well as additional properties. This range includes products from both our Amollan® and Melio® ranges, and a product specially designed for suede leather. In particular, Amollan® Lustre VN improves levelling, color strength and brilliance of the dyes, was where VF-2859 is especially recommended for suede leather.
Sustainable water-repellent solutions
Stahl’s water-repellent finishes are ideal for pre-coats and top coats, and for all kinds of finishes: nappalan, suede, nubuck and full grain leather. Our solutions are easy to apply and offer excellent properties such as water dilutability and resistance to water spotting. The sustainable silicon solutions ensure that any leather intended for outdoor use will withstand rain, water, snow, and other demanding conditions for longer.
This range includes two PFC-free and BTX-free water repellents. Our EX-WR-22-412 is an 8.5% solid water-based solution that improves staining protection from water, while our EX-WR-22-413 is a 6% solid solvent-dilutable solution. Both are non-film-forming and are perfect for pre-coating suede, nubuck, and full-grain leather.
