Stahl releases annual ESG report to drive focus on value-chain sustainability and transparency

Waalwijk, the Netherlands, 10 May, 2022 – Stahl, an active proponent of responsible chemistry, has today published its 2021 Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report. The report outlines the company’s sustainable development ambitions and its achievements over the year. It also features Stahl’s ambitious climate mitigation targets for 2030, such as the transition to more renewable feedstocks. Stahl’s 2021 ESG Report is available as a fully digital version.

Stahl introduces sensory coatings for next-level packaging applications

Waalwijk, The Netherlands, 28 April 2022 – Stahl, an active proponent of responsible chemistry, today announces the launch of Stahl Sensora®, a portfolio of high-performance coatings for packaging, designed to offer a unique sensory experience. The five Sensora® products use Stahl’s proprietary PolyMatte® technology, a polyurethane dispersion method for creating water-based, custom-made coatings at the pinnacle of aesthetics, performance, and sustainability.

He replaces Huub van Beijeren, who is stepping down after 14 successful years at the helm. We spoke with Maarten about his decision to come on board and his views of the future. We asked him what he sees as the main opportunities and challenges impacting the chemicals industry, and what they mean for Stahl.
