Stahl is committed to the guiding principles of United Nations (UN) Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. With this commitment, we confirm the alignment of our strategy and operations with the universal principles of human rights, labor, environment and anticorruption. Additionally we are aligning our businesses with UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Every year, we report our policies, risks, progress and performance in the Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) Report and Compliance Report.
Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) Report
The 2020 ESG report covers the key activities over the year and also gives insight in important future developments, which are confirmed in the Stahl ESG roadmap to 2030. The report corresponds to Stahl’s strategy and stakeholder desire for more transparency on environment, social and governance related topics. This report has been prepared, whenever possible, in accordance with the GRI Standards: Core option / self declared. Environmental, Safety and HR data has been validated by a 3rd party verifier (Deloitte).
Stahl has published its annual reports on environment, social and governance topics since 2013. The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the United Nations (UN) Global Compact and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have been key references in the preparation of these reports and continue to provide valuable guidance for the company. Stahl’s approach to ESG is grounded in its long-term business strategy and based on the insights of shareholders, clients, supply chain and industry partners.
