Our emphasis on building partnerships means we feel a special responsibility in our supplier relationships when it comes to the economic, ethical, and environmental aspects of the relationship. We respect our suppliers’ corporate culture and their employees, and maintain ethical relationships built on trust, mutual interest, and respect.
Cloud-based purchasing tool Coupa
Coupa is a cloud-based purchasing tool with an easy-to-use interface that will make it simpler for Stahl colleagues to request what they need (e.g. through catalogues), and for suppliers to connect with Stahl. This new way of working will facilitate all purchase orders for our indirect needs (non-raw material), and communications being managed through the Coupa Supplier Portal.

Stahl Code of Conduct for Business Partners and Whistleblower Policy
Our Code of Conduct for Business Partners outlines what is expected of our business partners such as our suppliers, agents and distributors. Integrity is essential to our reputation and to providing high-quality services to our customers. Our objective is to ensure Stahl’s continuity by having a strong financial basis. This involves balancing short- and long-term interests, treating our customers, employees, shareholders and other business relations with care and respect. Our whistleblower policy allows anyone outside and inside the company to report suspicious behavior that could conflict with our Code of Conduct, while offering the necessary guaranteed protection to the person in question. Amongst others, a report can be filed through whistleblower@stahl.com, in case of any concerns.

As a company, we’re committed to the United Nations Global Compact’s 10 Principles. This means we expect our suppliers to commit to these as well in the areas of human rights, labor relations, environment, and anti-corruption. As we want to set an example in the areas of the environment and health and safety, we take a real interest in the working conditions at our suppliers.
To ensure our procurement is sustainable, we believe it is essential that our suppliers follow our commitment. Our Supplier Code of Conduct is important in the integration and development of sustainability in procurement.
