1.    How long have you been with Stahl? What first attracted you to the company? 

Including the company Stahl acquired in 2014, I have worked here for a total of 26 years. What attracted me to the company was its focus on development, openness to innovation, and its young, dynamic structure.

2.    What is your role? Can you share an interesting fact about the work you do? 

I work in Operations at Stahl Turkey as a Logistic Officer/Import Specialist, and I also handle certain internal purchases. What I find particularly interesting about my work is its versatility. Each day brings new challenges and responsibilities, allowing me to develop a broad range of skills and adapt to different aspects of the supply chain and procurement processes.

3.    What do you like most about working at Stahl, and what are the biggest challenges? 

My favourite thing about working here is being number one in the leather coatings industry. One challenge I’ve encountered is the limited flexibility in position transitions, which can make it harder to explore new roles within the company.

4.    How does your work support Stahl’s purpose: Touching lives, for a better world? 

My work supports our purpose by taking into account both the cost and carbon footprint associated with customs clearance and transportation of materials, all while ensuring we provide what our customers need to help make the world a better place.

5.    If you were CEO of Stahl for the day, what would you do? 

If I were CEO for the day, I would create a memorial forest on behalf of our company as a way to give back to nature, acknowledging the environmental impact of production and leaving something beautiful for future generations.

6.    How do you spend your free time outside of work? 

In my free time – I enjoy riding my motorcycle and trekking.
