In our latest People of Stahl feature, we meet Indumathi Raman, a dedicated Senior Customer Service Officer with a passion for multitasking and making an impact.

1. How long have you been with Stahl? What first attracted you to the company?
I’ve been with Stahl for the past 15 years. What initially drew me to the company was the way the interview process was conducted, which left a strong, positive impression and made me confident about joining.
2. What is your role? Can you share an interesting fact about the work you do?
I work as a Senior Customer Service Officer. In this role, I have the opportunity to engage with a variety of customers across different industries. It’s interesting to balance the unique requirements of both the company and the customers, ensuring that we meet their needs while maintaining alignment with our company’s objectives.
3. What do you like most about working at Stahl, and what are the biggest challenges?
My favourite thing about working at Stahl is the opportunity to handle multiple tasks. It keeps the work dynamic and engaging. However, the biggest challenge is also managing multiple tasks, as it requires coordination and input from various teams. The goal is to complete each task to the satisfaction of all stakeholders, which can be demanding but rewarding.
4. How does your work support Stahl’s purpose: Touching lives, for a better world?
My work supports Stahl’s purpose by ensuring that I complete my tasks on time, which helps maintain the overall flow of work. By meeting deadlines, I enable others to carry out their responsibilities without delays, contributing to the smooth operation of the team and ultimately supporting our purpose of "Touching lives, for a better world."
5. If you were CEO of Stahl for the day, what would you do?
If I were CEO of Stahl for the day, I would focus on prioritizing the most important task at hand, carefully considering all relevant facts and data. My goal would be to ensure that this task is completed efficiently and to the satisfaction of everyone involved, maintaining alignment with the company's overall objectives.
6. How do you spend your free time outside of work?
I enjoy listening to music, traveling (including pilgrimage tours), and surfing social media and the internet. Additionally, I take inputs from various sources to keep my family and friends happy, ensuring I stay connected with the people I care about.
