Meet Vivian Li
At Stahl, our journey is defined not just by the solutions we deliver but by the passionate people behind them: the innovators, the collaborators, and the everyday drivers of our success. In the latest edition of ‘People of Stahl,’ we spotlight Vivian Li, a dedicated professional who thrives in our collaborative culture.

1. How long have you been with Stahl? What first attracted you to the company?
I joined Stahl in 2018, so I've been here for over eight years. What initially attracted me was the positive work environment and atmosphere. I was drawn to the collaborative culture and the strong sense of teamwork that we foster within the company.
2. What is your role? Can you share an interesting fact about the work you do?
I am the Centre of Excellence (CoE) Manager at Stahl Suzhou, where I also lead the test lab. An interesting aspect of my work is the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse range of customers, each with their own unique testing methods and requirements. This diversity challenges us to adapt and create customized testing approaches that meet specific customer needs, all while upholding our high standards of quality and accuracy.
3. What do you like most about working at Stahl, and what are the biggest challenges?
My favourite thing about working here is the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects. I truly appreciate the collaborative culture and the chance to work alongside talented colleagues who are all dedicated to making a positive impact.
One of the biggest challenges I face is the preventive management of equipment and facilities. Ensuring that all laboratory and testing equipment is maintained to the highest standards requires careful planning and coordination.
4. How does your work support Stahl’s purpose: Touching lives, for a better world?
By managing lab equipment, I help fulfil the company’s purpose of promoting sustainability and protecting the well-being of our employees. This ensures we minimize our environmental impact while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
5. If you were CEO of Stahl for the day, what would you do?
If I were CEO for the day, I would prioritize connecting with employees on the front lines by having face-to-face conversations. I would take the time to understand their daily challenges, listen to their concerns, and discuss any difficulties they may be facing in their work.
6. How do you spend your free time outside of work?
In my free time, I enjoy watching variety shows. It's a perfect way to relax and unwind after a busy day, and I really appreciate the entertainment and creativity these shows offer.
Thanks for sharing your journey with us, Vivan! We're proud of the dedicated individuals at Stahl who bring passion, purpose, and innovation to everything they do. Stay tuned for more inspiring stories in our People of Stahl series!
