The Stahl polymer portfolio consists of two product portfolios.The Permutex® product portfolio contains waterborne polymer dispersions. Our solvent-based polymer solutions that limit the environmental impact as much as possible, are found in our Permuthane® product portfolio.
Unique crosslinkers for a denser network.
Crosslinkers are chemicals that react with various binders or themselves to improve the physical and chemical properties of a coating. Crosslinkers are used when additional properties are required from a coating or lacquer, such as improved hardness and superior stain and chemical resistance.
Additives for optimal line performance and stability
Our portfolio includes an extensive variety of polymeric binders and finishes. However, the right processing and application characteristics of lacquers and coatings make it difficult to rely on general purpose.
Renewable feedstocks as a path to sustainable living.
Renewable feedstocks entail the elimination of non-renewable carbon resources such as coal, oil, and natural gas as feedstocks for organic chemistry, otherwise known as de-fossilization. Driving renewable feedstock chemistry forward will reduce our collective dependence on fossil-based chemistry that contributes to climate change and other environmental challenges.
